Image usage on The Website:-
With the exception of advertisers images used for links and marketing purposes The Website uses its own in house photography and graphic design team to generate its own imagery wherever possible, any such imagery used on The Website is offered for usage on the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 license and the GNU Free Documentation License and may be downloaded or copied from our website. The exception being the Explore England logo which is copy-written and cannot be used for any purpose apart from providing a link to The Website or for promotion of The Website with our consent.
Where our own self generated imagery is not used we use public domain images which are free from copy-write or licensing agreements and do not have to be attributed, some of these are sourced from online public domain image repositories.
Our other source of imagery is Wikimedia Commons which is an image repository containing files under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 license or the GNU Free Documentation License.
We endeavor to provide correct attributions in accordance with these license agreements, and advise you that the contributing artists have no affiliation with The Website or services we offer nor do they endorse us or our use of their work
